Fast-track Helldivers 2 medals with daily and weekly orders, Major Orders, and quick Eradication or Search & Destroy runs, plus side-objective loot for steady Warbond progress.

If you're trying to clear out Warbonds fast, you'll notice pretty quickly that "just playing" isn't the same as progressing. Medals come from smart choices, not long sessions. I like to treat it like a short checklist: grab the quick rewards, then pick missions that end fast. And if you're also thinking about gearing up without wasting nights, some players use U4GM to sort out items and services so their time in-game goes into actually earning medals instead of chasing the same upgrades.

Daily Orders First, Always

Your Daily Personal Order is the most reliable drip of medals, and it's easy to mess it up by doing it on the "wrong" mission. Don't. Drop into Trivial or Easy, finish the requirement, and leave. If it's "kills with X," bring that loadout and be done in one run. While you're there, take a quick lap for Points of Interest. Those distant yellow beams are worth detouring for because a couple extra medals from a cache is basically free on low difficulty. Keep it tight: complete the order, grab a few POIs, extract.

Major and Weekly Orders Without the Burnout

Weekly and Major Orders are where the big payouts live, but you've gotta actually contribute before they cash out. The fastest way to feel useful is Quickplay into whatever the community is pushing, especially defense or short operation nodes. Try to finish an operation chain when you can; that last mission reward tends to feel like the real payday. If your squad's melting, don't force it. Back out, re-queue, and keep your completion rate high.

Two Mission Types That Print Medals

Eradication missions are pure speed farming. Small map, nonstop spawns, and you can plan your stratagems around ending the run, not "winning pretty." In a coordinated group, higher difficulties can actually be faster because the kill count ramps up. Drop in, layer Eagle strikes, Orbital Laser, mortars, and keep moving to avoid getting pinned. For solo, pick a difficulty where you can still extract consistently. Blitz: Search and Destroy is the other one. Twelve minutes, no time to roleplay a hero. Run light armor, take stamina, and bring something that deletes holes or fabricators fast. Split with a friend: one clears objectives, one hunts bunkers and POIs.

Play Like You're on a Timer

The biggest medal leak is trying to "clear the map." Patrols aren't your job. Objectives are. If a run turns into a rescue mission for lost samples and endless reinforcements, cut it and queue again. That mindset alone speeds up Warbond progress, and if you ever want to skip the rough patches and focus on the fun parts, Helldivers 2 Boosting is something people look at when they'd rather not spend a whole week stuck on the same grind.
