im doing my first custom exhaust on my 90 talon tsi awd i just bought... i bought a crap load of pipes fittings and a muffler (no cat of course). now i am looking for a welder and i have found oxy/acetylene kits that have cutter and welder hardware included for a good price.. however after doing research i found out that an o/a torch can only cut through steel or carbon steel... no aluminum, stainless steel, or other metals. im very concerned i might invest in the wrong thing... if exhaust pipe is made from aluminum or s.s. what kind of cutter should i use... i really am trying to not use a grinder and lose fingers obviously.
