If you can't afford both pieces yet, one Dream plus strong supporting gear still feels good. Griffon's Eye is a strong alternative when you want more minus enemy lightning resistance. For weapons, a Phase Blade base is usually the move because speed matters a lot with Zeal. Grief is the premium pick if you want huge physical damage, but Crescent Moon is still very respectable and much easier to work into a budget. Enigma also changes the pace of the build completely. Teleport on a melee character sounds odd at first, but once you've used it for repositioning, you won't want to go back.

How it feels in real farming runs

In actual play, the Tesladin is way more relaxed than its price tag might suggest. You teleport or charge into a pack, Conviction starts doing its job, Holy Shock starts ticking, and Zeal finishes the leftovers. That loop is simple, but it never gets old. You'll notice pretty quickly that the build shines most in dense areas where monsters bunch up and let the aura do free work. It also doesn't fall apart when the game throws tougher targets at you. Bosses still go down fast because your physical swings are backed by lightning damage on top. Add an Infinity merc and the whole thing gets even cleaner, especially in areas where immunity breaking matters.

Why so many players stick with it

The Tesladin isn't just strong on paper. It feels good minute to minute, and that's why people keep coming back to it every ladder. You're not juggling a dozen buttons, and you're not forced into a fragile glass-cannon style either. It's sturdy, fast, and flashy without being awkward.
